Astrophotographers are a strange breed. Solitary by nature, we go hundreds of miles out of our way to find someplace far from the nearest town, yet we never hesitate to offer anyone a view through the telescope. We go nearly blind squinting into the smallest eyepiece for hours on end, yet we pride ourselves in photographing that which we can't see anyway!
